A typhoon hit the Tokyo region today, but nothing anywhere near this part of Japan. Over half of the typhoon season has passed, and still, nothing. That is good, I don't think I need the stress of natural disasters added to my full plate. What I have are man made typhoons... little crisis and things that require a lot of brain processing power to solve.

I was reading a quote from the late VADM Stockdale (most senior POW during Vietnam) and it said: " Face the harshness of your current reality, but never lose faith you will prevail in the end." From the book Good to Great... what separate good from mediocre is not the absence of difficulties, but how they deal with the inevitable difficulties of life.
